Comments on Idea - Opening up Academic Papers

It is good to have openacess to help senior researchers to follow advances.

my experience, in past work, is those researching particular topics already know most of what is published or going to be published. It is their work / job to know these things and how to interpret them. those who cross link an article/idea via a google style search don't have enough training/depth to understand the 'science' in a scientific article.
