Invention of the TV - Historical Inventions and Ideas Series, Idea 3

One of my favorite inventions ever is the invention of the TV. Invention of the TV was influenced by various earlier inventions, including sound transmission and the cathode ray tube. I'm not too familiar with the invention of the TV myself, but for a story of one of the inventors of TV, I would like to direct readers to the book, The Boy Who Invented Television: A Story of Inspiration, Persistence and Quiet Passion.
