Google offers a very useful service within their Maps application called Street View. It allows users to view street-level images as if they were actually walking down the street.
If Google decides to periodically update these images, it would be interesting to compile and present them so that users would also be able to observe how a city has changed over the years. Although this effort would only be worthwhile if done over several decades, it would still be interesting to see.
