The Maid Is Not Needed, Good Habits Are

With the advent of technology and the arrival of the The Maid Is Not Needed, Good Habits Aremodern world, people have become too preoccupied with a lot of things that once they come home, they are already too exhausted to even lift a finger. In the last couple of years with the introduction of smartphones, a lot of individuals have been too engrossed with devices that a normal average person is estimated to spend 8 hours a day on their mobile phones, laptops, tablets or netbooks everyday. It gets worse when they are at home with the distraction of television and other forms of telecommunication media.

With this behavior, the number of maid service has also increased especially in developed countries among those who are living in an urbanized and advanced dwelling. The Peterson Group Bespoke Condominium and Residences, with 5 years in the business of providing luxury condominium and residential to expatriates in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Jakarta, Indonesiand Hong Kong reports that almost 75% of their clients requests of maid service in their special demands every year.

Experts, on the other hand, highly advise against maid services. Further warnings include the fear of human’s total dependency to other people. This fact lessens the independent survival streak of humans who in the turn of time, continues to rely on technology and material things.

It can also affect a person’s health. Locomotion, which is highly important in a person’s healthy lifestyle, is already being ignored. If this continues, it can lead to deterioration of health. If people would learn to change their habits, it can help regain the balance in an individual’s essential lifestyle factors.

The following are simple practices which may seem to be of little value can greatly affect our way of living:

1. Tossing Your Clothes About

You may be complaining of being tired when you get home at the end of the day and the simple task of hanging your clothes on the hamper can be of big challenge. Laziness will only pull you down if you continue doing this. What you thought would be a big task would actually only take a few seconds. You'll be thankful that you won't have to spend extra time rounding up stray socks all over your room when it's laundry day.

2. Piling up The Dishes
We are a little guilty on this but practicality wise, it will double your job if you wait at the end of the week before washing your dishes up. Imagine the time you would spend to clean one or two dishes everyday than 15 more at the end of the week, not to mention the odor it would emit.

I hate people who procrastinate. They are the ones who never really succeed in life.
Discipline is what we all need, not only money or success. If you are really smart, why spend for maid services when you can do it on your own?
I broke up with my partner since he would always litter papers everywhere our flat. I understand that he’s a busy person but I just can’t live with a mess.
My mom told me that if you keep your house a mess with all the clutters, it can reflect in your life.
How odd how people could spend that much time on their devices but I am guilty as charged.
