A few days ago, Google announced that they have developed a new language for the web intended to replace JavaScript.
The new language is called Dart and is intended to make web programming much easier. Since browsers can only run JavaScript at the moment, Google is providing tools to translate Dart code to JavaScript so that current browsers can run it. However, they hope that some day, browsers will be able to run Dart natively.
